DESCRIPTION
 Here is a superb pair of hand painted Paris armorial Porcelain plates. Beautiful plate blue ground with delightful scrolling polished gold work. Central reserve with the crest and motto of the STEWART family or clan of SCOTLAND. Motto: "Virescit vulnere virtus". Courage grows strong at a wound. This particular crest and motto is that of the Earl of Galloway. Perfect for any discerning collection.
