   Here is a superb, hand engraved brass seal. It bears the arms of the CONOLLY family of MIDFORD CASTLE, BATH. A branch of the Conollys from CASTLETOWN, IRELAND. Perfect for any discerning collection.

Built for Henry Disney Roebuck in 1777, the plan of the building seems to form the shape of a club from a game of cards. in 1810 the castle was purchased by the Conolly's. This fairy tale miniature castle was sold to actor Nicholas Cage in 2007. The seal was perhaps made in Paris by Lofficiau and Munzinger of Paris. Stamped "LOFFICIAUX".
